Air Transat Receives First A321LR Aircraft

The Canadian leisure and holiday travel airline Air Transat took delivery of its first A321LR aircraft from Airbus. The operator expects to add fourteen more A321LR planes to its fleet, facilitated by aircraft lessor AerCap.

Annick Guérard, Transat’s Chief Operating Officer, shared that taking delivery of the new aircraft type opens the door to a wider range of destinations throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. The aircraft provides a capacity of 199 seats in a two-class configuration.
