UIA, or Ukraine International, has made a new addition to its fleet by taking delivery of its first Embraer 195 aircraft.
The aircraft is the sixth Embraer plane in the fleet of the carrier and will provide a seating capacity of 116 passengers in two classes, including Business and Economy. The aircraft will be operated on the medium-haul and domestic services of Ukraine International. The maiden flight of UIA with the aircraft is scheduled for the first half of March 2019.
The Embraer 195 aircraft has the capability to improve the carrier’s domestic and partially international network. The aircraft is a suitable substitute for the Boeing 737 Classis airplane, which has been put out of service last year.
The airline is expecting its second Embraer 195 this year.
