Virgin Atlantic will retire its fleet of eight Boeing 747-400 aircraft by 2021. The airline’s Chief Executive Officer, Shai Weiss, confirmed that the retirement process of these aircraft will follow alongside the delivery of twelve Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.
Recently, the company revealed its new interior design for the A350. It intends to take delivery of the first aircraft of that type in July 2019.
