Air Arabia has taken delivery of its first A321-200neo aircraft from Air Lease Corporation. The aircraft is the first of six aircraft of that type to be delivered on long-term lease to the carrier. The lessor plans to deliver the additional five aircraft by 2020.
Steven F. Udvar-Házy, Air Lease Corporation’s Executive Chairman, emphasized that his company is delighted to fulfill its first A321LR delivery. Adel Al Ali, Air Arabia’s Group Chief Executive Officer, confirmed that the company is excited to utilize the increased range of the new aircraft and expand its network.
