Kazakhstan’s Air Astana confirmed that is expanding its fleet with six A320neo Family jets. To achieve this the carrier has entered into leasing agreements with several unspecified international leasing companies.
According to the announcement made by the Kazakh national carrier the order is for three A320neos and three A321neos. Deliveries are expected in the period 2019 to 2020.
The airline currently operates a fleet of 31 aircraft that include one A319-100, eight A320-200, one A320neo, and four A321-200s. It is based in Astana and serves 41 destinations with 112 daily flights.
