Air China reported on its earnings and operations in the six months between January and June 2019. The operator’s half-year revenues totaled to approximately $9.14 billion USD, 1.7% higher compared to the same time period of 2018. Its air passenger revenue jumped 5.2% to $8.37 billion. The company’s pre-tax profit fell 10% year-on-year to $630 million.
The Air China Group’s cumulative passenger traffic rose 5% to about 56.5 million passengers. Its average load factor grew slightly to 81%.
