The 44th Airbus A320 joined Air France, who is renewing its fleet, on October 20. The aircraft with registration number F – HEPJ was delivered in Toulouse.

The A320 has a capacity to sit 174 passengers and will serve the carrier’s medium-haul flights. It is equipped with sharklets, which improve the aircraft’s aerodynamics and reduce its fuel consumption by up to 3% depending on the flight duration.

In order to provide for passengers’ comfort, the A320 will be equipped with Air France’s latest medium-haul seats and upon arrival at Paris-Charles de Gaulle it will receive a series of finishing touches that include installation of USB sockets on all seats.

The newly delivered aircraft will start operation from Charles de Gaulle airport on European routes as of October 29.
