Air Tanzania will add another De Havilland Canada Dash 8 Q400 aircraft to its fleet. The flag carrier already flies three aircraft of that model. The Tanzania Government Flight Agency will purchase the turboprop airplane and lease it to Air Tanzania.
This decision aligns with the company’s regional expansion efforts; last month, the airline inked an agreement for two additional Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
Information from mba’s STAR Fleet database shows that the airline’s fleet includes seven active aircraft at present.
