Alaska Air Group, the parent company of Alaska Airlines and its regional affiliates, published a report covering its operational performance in the first half of 2019.
The combined airline group experienced a 0.5% dip in total revenue passengers between January and June 2019, compared to the same time period of the prior year. For the mainline operations of Alaska Airlines in particular, passenger traffic fell by 3.4%; it reported an average load factor of 83.7%.
The company’s operational performance in terms of on-time arrivals reported to the US Department of Transportation declined in 2019. Its mainline division operated 79.9% on-time (down 3.5%), while its regional division operated 82.3% on-time (down 4.0%).
