Amaszonas Uruguay celebrated the arrival of its first Embraer E190 aircraft, registration CX-IVO. The company serves regional routes from its hub at Montevideo’s Carrasco International Airport.
According to the STAR Fleet database available within REDBOOK, two CRJ 200 aircraft made up the airline’s entire fleet prior to this delivery. After it receives the second E190 on order, the company will remove both Bombardier regional jets from its fleet. Amaszonas Uruguay is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Línea Aérea Amaszonas, a Bolivian operator.
