Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Reports Passenger Traffic for February 2019


Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has announced its passenger traffic for February 2019. During the second month of the year the airport hosted a total of 4.8 million travelers, representing a boost of 2% from November 2018.

In terms of European routes, 3.3 million passengers traveled to and from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Those traveling to British destinations increased by 4.5%, while Norwich’s passengers increased drastically by 20%.

Travelers to Exeter, Inverness, Humberside, Durham Tees Valley, Cardiff, and Aberdeen rose by 10%.

Intercontinental passengers at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol reached 1.5 million, growing by 2%. Cairo and Marrakesh were destinations of particular interest to passengers, growing by 16% and 18% in passenger numbers respectively.
