Austrian Airlines reported its passenger traffic figures for April 2019, in which time its passenger traffic rose 5.9% to about 1.3 million travelers. The airline’s North American routes drove this increase, with passenger travel bound for that region growing by 18.2%.
The carrier’s available seat kilometers (ASK) grew nearly 7%, while revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) jumped by 12.5%. The Vienna-based operator increased its total number of monthly flights by 2.1%, completing around 11,900 flights in April.
