Boliviana de Aviación Sets Strategy for Fleet Growth

Boliviana de Aviación, the state-owned flag carrier of Bolivia, promoted its ambitious fleet growth goals in a recent press conference. The company hopes to bolster its narrow-body capacity for intra-continental flights by acquiring five Boeing 737-800 aircraft on financing leases. Also, it aims to add two long-haul Airbus aircraft to cover its routes to Miami and Madrid.

According to the STAR Fleet database in mba’s REDBOOK, the airline’s fleet includes two Bombardier CRJ-200ER aircraft, sixteen Boeing 737 aircraft, and four Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
