Brussels South Charleroi Airport reported on its traffic in April 2019, showing increased passenger demand.
During the fourth month of the year, the airport welcomed more than 755,000 travelers, constituting a 2% increase over its performance in April 2018. Italy, Spain, and France topped the list of most common destinations for travelers departing from the airport.
According to Philippe Verdonck, the airport’s chief executive officer, the operating company will continue to upgrade its facility throughout the year, with plans to extend its runway and enhance retail areas.
