The full value chain aircraft solutions provider CALC has officially released information regarding its 2018 financial results, demonstrating continuous stability and confidence on the market.
During the year the company managed to give a boost to its revenue by 15.6%, reaching HK$3,341.5 million. The successful result was made possible thanks to an expansion within the company’s aircraft leasing business. CALC’s profit in 2018 was also on the rise, showings 10.1% growth to HK$808.9 million.
The company’s earnings per share rose by 9.7% to HK$1.194, while the full year dividends increased by 10% to HK$0.66 per share.
2018 was a strong year in terms of fleet expansion. CALC increased its fleet size to a total of 133 aircraft by the end of the year, announcing ownership of 115, while the remaining 18 were under the control of CAG. CALC’s focus remained sustaining a technologically advanced, modern, and young fleet.
The average age of CALC’s aircraft is 3.7 years, with an average remaining lease of 8.3 years. A total of 65 new aircraft were included to the company’s order book in 2018.
