Chrono Aviation, the Quebec air charter company, has officially revealed the newest aircraft in its fleet at the Aéroport Montréal Saint-Hubert Longueuil – the Boeing 737-200.
The delivery of the new aircraft marks a new milestone in the development of Chrono Aviation and opens doors to new opportunities. Vincent Gagnon, President of Chrono Aviation, shared that the moment has finally come when the operator is ready to take on the aircraft, after a Dash 8, a King Air 350, and a private jet.
The aircraft has a seating capacity of 120 passengers, a significant change from the previous capacity of 37 passengers that Chrono Aviation worked with. The company is confident in the ability of the Boeing aircraft to meet the expectations and needs of its passengers and cargo customers.
Chrono Aviation plans to employ the aircraft to serve its jumbo-jet transport needs to mining or construction companies flying to remote destinations.
The company’s fleet is to grow further in the near future as Chrono Aviation is expecting another 737-200 aircraft to be added to the fleet in November 2019. The company’s total investment in the two aircraft equates to $12 million.
