EVA Air Receives First 787-10

EVA Air took delivery of a Boeing 787-10 aircraft, the first from an order it placed with Boeing for twenty of that type. The Taiwanese airline’s long-term fleet growth strategy centers on the 787 Dreamliner; it actively flies four 787-9 aircraft, per mba’s REDBOOK.

This summer, the company will begin commercial service with the new aircraft on high-density intra-Asia routes. It will configure the plane to seat 342 passengers in a dual-class arrangement.
