First A350 for China Southern


China Southern took delivery of an A350-900 aircraft, the first of 20 it ordered from Airbus. To begin, the airline will utilize the aircraft on its busy routes linking its Guangzhou hub with Beijing and Shanghai. It configured the aircraft with 314 seats.

Fleet data available in mba’s REDBOOK shows that Airbus planes make up 55% of the airline’s active fleet of 613 aircraft, alongside Boeing’s 42% and Embraer’s 3%.
