Garuda Indonesia took delivery of the first of fourteen A330-900neo aircraft from Airbus. The new aircraft, along with five others, was subject to a sale-and-leaseback transaction between the airline and CDB Aviation. This aircraft complements the airline’s fleet of 24 A330ceo aircraft. The Indonesian flag carrier outfitted the plane’s interior with 24 business class and 277 economy class seats.
Last August, the operator and OEM signed a Letter of Intent that covered four smaller A330-800neo aircraft.
