International investors have purchased 100% of Peruvian Airlines. The airline held the second largest share of Peru’s domestic market before it ceased operations at the beginning of October.
Last week, the company halted all flights because it lacked sufficient funds to cover its operating expenses. According to the STAR Fleet database available in mba’s REDBOOK, the airline’s active fleet consists of thirteen Boeing 737-200, -300, -400, and -500 aircraft.
