JAL Prepares for First A350 XWB

The Airbus A350 XWB aircraft destined to be the first of that model operated by Japan Airlines has taken flight. Now in its final stage of production, Airbus is completing flight tests with the aircraft.

JAL placed an order for a total of 31 A350 XWB planes. It intends to employ the aircraft on high-capacity domestic routes to take advantage of the plane’s capacity for 369 passengers in a three-class configuration.
