JetBlue has begun preparations for its maiden delivery of the A321neo aircraft, which is expected to be added to the airline’s fleet during the spring of 2019.
The carrier plans to launch operations with the new aircraft during the summer season of 2019 and expand its reach thanks to the improved efficiency and the reduction of fuel consumption that Airbus’ modern aircraft offers.
JetBlue intends to use the new A321neo aircraft on a nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Guayaquil Ecuador’s José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport.
Through the benefits provided by the A321neo, the carrier will be able to further strengthen its leading position in Latin America. Andrea Lusso, Director Route Planning at JetBlue, shared that the aircraft will provide substantial benefits and new opportunities for the company in terms of its future network and presence in priority cities.
Furthermore, passengers will have access to an improved service and exceptional passenger comfort by traveling on the A321neo.
