KLM announced that as of October 29, 2017, they are entering into a codeshare agreement with AtlasGlobal. Jointly, the Dutch and the Turkish airlines will offer 14 weekly flights between Amsterdam and Istanbul Atatürk Airport.

Barry ter Voert, Senior Vice President Europe KLM, stated that the agreement is a wonderful opportunity for their airline to strengthen its positions in the Turkish market, while offering passengers more transfer options and destinations in Turkey.

Murat Ersoy, Chairman Atlasglobal, on the other hand stressed on the chance the codeshare agreement gives to his company to achieve further growth within Europe.

Initially the code of each company will be included in the daily flights they perform between Amsterdam and Istanbul and the agreement will later be expanded to include more destinations.
