Korean Air Finalizes Order for 30 787 Aircraft

Korean Air finalized the commitment it inked with Boeing at the Paris Air Show last month. The operator will quadruple its fleet of 787 Dreamliners by directly purchasing twenty aircraft and leasing ten more aircraft from Air Lease Corporation. The direct order which it placed with Boeing will be split evenly between the 787-9 and 787-10 variants.

According to REDBOOK’s STAR Fleet database, the carrier currently flies ten 787-9 aircraft.
