The Austrian airline Laudamotion announced on October 9 that it is going to grow its fleet. The initial announcement was for 19 Airbus aircraft joining the airline, but the company then confirmed that it’s actually receiving 18.
Laudamotion, which is one of the most successful assets of Ryanair, is expecting to receive 18 A320 aircraft by the summer of 2019. The airline currently operates an all-Airbus fleet of 9 aircraft – 5 A320-200s and 4 A321-200s.
The new additions will compensate for the planes that the carrier had to redeliver to Lufthansa earlier this year.
