Nigerian MaxAir has received its first 737 aircraft – a 737-300 N650SW (msn 27720). The deal was facilitated and announced by Bristol Associates.  

Prior to being acquired by MaxAir, the twenty-year0old aircraft was used by Southwest Airlines (Dallas, Love Field).  

This is not the first Boeing jet in the fleet of the Nigerian carrier. The airline also operates four 747-300s, three 747-400s and one ERJ Legacy 600BJ, which is used for VIP missions.
