Miami International Airport reported on its passenger traffic during the first half of 2019. About 23.4 million travelers used the airport between January and June, representing a 3% year-over-year increase. Greater international travel demand contributed the most to this increase, with traffic on international routes up 4.7%.
In 2019, the South Florida facility has added five new international destinations: Casablanca (Royal Air Maroc), Cordoba, Argentina (American Airlines), London-Gatwick (Norwegian Air Shuttle), Paris-Orly (Corsair), and Warsaw (LOT Polish Airlines).
