NAC Signs MoU for A220

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC), a Danish leasing company which specializes in regional aircraft, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus for 20 A220 family aircraft. As of December 2018, the lessor’s fleet includes seven managed A220 aircraft.

This announcement follows two other deals which the company closed at the Paris Air Show. On Tuesday, NAC ordered as many as 105 turboprop aircraft from ATR. That agreement entails 35 firm orders, 35 purchase rights and 35 options. On Wednesday, it finalized a TrueChoice Flight Hour MRO agreement with GE Aviation covering the CF34-10E engines that power its fleet of 142 Embraer E190 and E195 regional jets.
