Qantas to Become A321P2F Launch Operator

Qantas announced that it will add up to three Airbus A321P2F (Passenger to Freighter) aircraft to support its partnership with Australia Post. The Australian flag carrier will become the world’s first operator of an A321 aircraft converted to an all-cargo role.

Compared to the airline’s existing Boeing 737 freighters, the new aircraft will each provide 50% more capacity.

The airline also announced a seven-year domestic and international parcel shipment agreement with Australia Post, valued at more than $1 billion Australian dollars.
