Royal Air Maroc has prepared a significant expansion strategy, which includes the carrier’s entrance and growth in destinations in Europe, Latin America, and the U.S.
In order to achieve its objectives, the airline will need modern and technologically advanced aircraft in its fleet. Royal Air Maroc has officially taken delivery of its maiden Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner from the aircraft manufacturer as a result.
The delivery marks the entrance of a second Dreamliner aircraft in the carrier’s fleet and provides a larger seating capacity and increased range. The airplane is also a suitable resource for achieving the international growth objectives of Royal Air Maroc.
By employing the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, the carrier will be able to expand its seating capacity by 30 seats and its range to 14,140km. Royal Air Maroc has intentions of employing the airplane on services to Paris from Casablanca and to New York and Sao Paulo.
The aircraft has been delivered in a special livery to commemorate the Moroccan culture. In addition, the interior of the aircraft offers exceptional passenger comfort.
Abdelhamid Addou, CEO and Chairman of Royal Air Maroc, shared that the company is excited to take delivery of this new aircraft and shared that airline is to receive another three from the same family.
