SAS and airBaltic Announce Codeshare Agreement

Scandinavian Airlines and airBaltic will establish a codeshare agreement in order to offer a wider range of travel options to passengers.

Per the agreement, airBaltic will sell tickets for SAS-operated flights between Riga and the Norwegian cities of Alesund, Bergen, Stavanger, Tromso, and Trondheim via the SAS hubs in Oslo and Copenhagen. Meanwhile, SAS will place its code on airBaltic’s flights from Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo to Riga, Latvia.

According to Martin Gauss, airBaltic’s chief executive officer, his airline’s passengers can now fly to more than 300 destinations thanks to codeshare agreements with SAS and other partners.
