Slovene Government Discusses Replacement for Adria Airways

Government officials from Slovenia met with the Lufthansa Group regarding the future of their country’s commercial aviation market in the absence of Adria Airways, the defunct flag carrier. Representatives from Slovenia’s Ministry of the Economy and Bank Assets Management Company traveled to Frankfurt for discussions about a replacement national airline.

Adria ceased operations on September 24th. Per mba’s REDBOOK, its fleet included seventeen narrow-body and regional aircraft.
