Swiss International Air Lines reported a small decline of 0.4% in the number of passengers transported in October 2017 compared to the same number last year. The total number of travelers who flew with the company was 1,525,261. The figure does not include the passengers carried by Edelweiss Air.
The airline also operated 3.1% less flights this month – total of 12,281, compared to last October.
The other indicators, however, remained either stable or increased. The monthly systemwide capacity, measured in available seat-kilometers (ASK), marked a 3.2% increase on October 2016 and the total traffic volume, represented in revenue passenger-kilometers (RPK), also measured the same growth. The systemwide sead load factor remained at the last year’s level of 84.00%.
