TAP Air Portugal Fleet Reaches 100 Aircraft

Portuguese flag carrier TAP Air Portugal took delivery of an Airbus A330neo aircraft. According to mba’s fleet database REDBOOK, this increases the size of its fleet (inclusive of its regional operations) to 100 planes.

The Lisbon-based operator’s rapid fleet expansion has strengthened its position in the transatlantic market. In fact, since 2015 TAP has grown faster than all other operators which fly between the USA and Europe.

TAP’s inaugural flight occurred in 1946. At present, its all-Airbus fleet includes A319, A320, A321, A330, and A340 models.
