CDB Aviation announced that it has started delivering aircraft to TAP Air Portugal as part of the lease agreements concluded between the two companies.
TAP is expecting a total of four Airbus A321neos as per the first agreement. The first aircraft was already delivered in November and the second shall join the fleet by the end of the year. The remaining two aircraft are to be received in 2019.
In addition to the A321neos, the Portuguese airline is also expecting the delivery of two Airbus A330-900neos as per the purchase and leaseback agreement signed with CDB Aviation in April 2018. They are expected in the second quarter of 2019.
CDB Aviation Chief Commercial Officer Patrick Hannigan expressed his satisfaction to work with a leading airline like TAP and emphasized that the variety of narrowbody and widebody aircraft to be received will help the growth of the airline in terms of capacity and new destinations.
