Vietnam Airlines cut its consolidated revenue projection for 2019 by approximately $300 million USD, lowering its forecast to $4.5 billion. The Hanoi-based carrier expects to carry 23.4 million passengers this year, 1.5 million fewer than it projected at its annual meeting of shareholders last May.
Last week, the company took delivery of its first Boeing 787-10 aircraft on lease from Air Lease Corporation. STAR Fleet data available in mba’s REDBOOK shows that 98 aircraft make up the airline’s active mainline fleet.
