Vistara, an Indian full-service carrier, placed an order with CFM for 26 LEAP-1A engines. The engines will power thirteen forthcoming Airbus A320neo aircraft. Vistara already employs CFM’s engines for 54% of the 28 aircraft in its active fleet, according to data in mba’s REDBOOK.

This deal also includes a Rate Per Flight Hour agreement to maintain 120 LEAP-1A engines which are either in service or on order.
Vistara is a joint venture between Tata Sons Limited (51%) and Singapore Airlines (49%).
