FAA has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to expand the requirements for Safety Management System (SMS), once finalized, it would require all Part 135 certificate holders, Part 91.147 air tour operators and certain Part 21 Type Certificate (TC) and Production Certificate (PC) holders, no later than 24 months to implement an SMS. The expansion of requirements for SMS is also expected to include the scope of Part 145 Certificate holders in the near future.

With the impending Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mandate to implement an SMS, Safety+ is the comprehensive solution for all SMS needs as it meets all the requirements for a fully functioning SMS.
